I was recently talking with the OPWFT bloggers about a local, independent bookstore which carries magnets, buttons, and t-shirts with bookish slogans.
Out of boredom, I decided to see what sort of bookish items were available on Etsy. Below are a few of my favorites. Please be aware that I don’t endorse any of the Etsy sellers who’s items are listed below. I’ve never ordered from them, I just think they have some nifty, bookish things.
Old Books and Manuscripts 1 1/4 Inch Pinback Buttons or Magnets from ButtonDivas. There is just something sexy about old books (even though they make me sneeze and they sometimes have little bugs in them).
Recycled Cotton Tote Bag with Dual Handles- John is Not Really Dull, He May Only Need His Eyes Examined from AmericaJane. This lovely little tote appeals both to my love of vintage advertising/PSAs and my tendency to be snarky.
I Am the Protagonist/Antagonist buttons from beanforest. Different buttons for different days. The shop also has a very nifty “my life story could sure use a deus ex machina right about now” button.
So those are three items I came across and liked. What about you? Do you have any bookish flare you like to display?

I’m aching to get one of these posters. An entire Shakespeare play on one poster. http://www.onepagebooks.com/product/2350/much-ado-about-nothing.htm

That’s just nifty! I’m not even a huge Shakespeare fan and I sort of want one (of course that could be love for the Kenneth Branagh adaptation talking).

This stuff is super cute. You know, I just got back into reading in this past year (which is terrible, I know). I read all the time in my younger teen years but I got out of it in high school and really just started back reading a lot again this year. I’m loving it now…maybe I shoulder get some paraphernalia. Thanks for the blog post! 🙂

I fell out of reading when I was in college. I think everyone has phases. When I’m in editing cycles, I read much more than when I’m working on first drafts.
